Paris, France: "Eiffle Tower, I think YES"

France Entry number three...

While in Paris France I spent an amazing amount of time just touring around. One of my favorite stops was finally being able to visit the Eiffel Tower. Visiting this beautiful one of a kind sight to see has been something on my bucket list and something that I really wanted to see. I took a whole tour and learned so much about the Eiffel tower in general. For instance it is one of they highest buildings in France and is one of they most visited buildings on the whole entire planet. The sight from the top of the Eiffel tower stunned me. It was so beautiful and breathtaking it is one mental picture I hope i never forget. Some other great memories from my trip would have been the very exciting river tour and my self guided tour I took of Paris stop to taste test the delicious food all along the way. Paris was an awesome and amazing experience I could write all day and never fully explain the great times I had. I'll be heading out to my next location soon. Write when I can! -Paige

Paris, France: "Dream Hotel"

France Entry number two...

After a long Tiring flight I landed in Charles de Gaulle International Airport, the Airport is around 25 kilometers from the city of Paris. Paris which is they capital of France is where I will be staying during my trip in Europe. My original plan was to rent a car making it much more easy to get around. But it so happen my plain mate (the nice man sitting next to me on the plain) has traveled all around Europe, and Visited Europe many times, and he highly suggested against me renting a car. He explained that they roads were very busy and crowded, I would have to drive on they other side of they road in a very little compact car among some crazy European drivers. So once landing I took a bus to the city of Paris, once in Paris I found a taxi to bring me to my hotel. Although I must say finding a Taxi was quite they experience and hassle, I had many taxi drivers with an empty back seat Dennie me which I found very rude. Although I found out later on from my hotel concierge that its very common for Taxi's to be called in, so even though its empty now it had been called in and was on its way to pick up its passengers. Despite the fact I finally got to my hotel, Thank the Lord!! While in Paris I will be staying at a quaint hotel called "Hotel les Hauts de Passy" is located with in Muette and Passy two residential areas in Paris. These areas are also located right between they Eiffel tower and Bois de Boulogne, which i find to be awesome because visiting they Eiffel tower was one of they main reasons i traveled to Paris France. Besides this hotels perfect location I chose to stay here because of its laid back vibe and awesome amenities. The very nice man at the front desk explained the many things that I can do while in Paris. So as soon as I got somewhat settled in, I set off exploring and found so many incredible things to do. For example the hauts de passy has the unique opportunity of staying in this quite district of Passy la Muette. They have what are known as pedestrian only streets which allow me to enjoy a peaceful stroll through this incredible district. With in a short walking distance I have access to a tennis court, swimming pool, jogging track, Horse-riding stable, the Balzac's house, Longchamp racecourse, and they Rolandgarros Stadium. I'm going to catch some sleep because I had a very long and tiring day. Although I am very glad I found all of those awesome things to do and cant wait to set off on my first adventure tomorrow. Ill write as soon as I can. -Paige

Paris, France: "The facts"

France Entry number one....

Paris France is a very interesting place from what I have learned, its full of beautiful attractions and once in a life time sights. So here's a little information all about Paris, France located in Europe....
Paris has the reputation for being one of the most romantic cities, its been nick named the "the city of light" and "The city of Love". Paris has a population of 2,181,371 and welcomes millions of visitors every year. Paris has a land area of right around 14,518.3 squared, among this large amount of land there are impressive museums with impeccable collections of art, breath taking cathedrals and Church's, incredible palaces, hundreds of lush green parks, cute little country towns and so much more. One very large attraction of Paris would be spending time aside the river Seine which crosses Paris east to west. I do have some worries about traveling to Paris France, even though they seem minor they would play a big role in my trip. I worry about the language barrier because I speak English and there main language is french. I speak very little amounts of french if any, I know I will get along fine but ill still be the goofy American with the English to french translation dictionary. The second main worry I have is the money situation, in Europe there form of currency is called the Euro, and I still don't fully understand how my American money compairs to the Euro. So there Is a very good chance I will end up overpaying or underpaying for things, although I know traveling in general is merely a learning experience and I will have to pick up on it quickly. I am very excited to travel to Europe, and while in Paris there are many things I am excited to see. I'll write when I get in. -Paige

Switzerland, Zermatt: "Pow-Pow"

Switzerland Entry number three....

Now I have been snowboarding for quite some time, And I have shredded some great powder days, Back country and some awesome slopes. But I can legit say I have never see anything like the swiss alps. They were not only some of the best riding tarrane I have experianced but they were so beautiful. I was lost for words, which doesnt happen very often. The first day I woke up early to catch the first chair lift and I had the chance to look out upon this perfect mountain range with the sun peaking through. It was like a post card, a mental picture I can NEVER forget. I was also amazed by the highest mountain in the swiss Alps called the "Matterhorn" its this huge steep peak that almost looks like its endless beyond the clouds. This has been one of the most Epic snowboard trips I have ever taken part in, and I truly feel blessed to have even had any little part in it! In a way I dont want to leave, but i am looking forward to visiting PARIS!! Ahhh, It al seems so unreal that I get the chance to travel in my mind the world! Ttyl. -Paige
